I just got off the telephone with your customer service representative, Debbie.
My call was connected with battery problems with the WA3512. I had purchased the edger over two years ago, but shortly after beginning to use it, the battery failed after one to two minutes. I had not used it for over a year because of the battery problem and just wrote it off as another product ripoff. Today I thought i would reorder a new battery and give it another chance. To my surprise, Debbie informed me that this battery by serial number qualified for a free replacement battery, at no cost. It certainly changed my opinion of worx products. I will surely continue to use worx products in the future and recommend them to friends.
Thanks again to Debbie.

Awesome Products

I initially purchased the trimmer/edger with "2 Batteries" (only makes sense to have 2!!). I've had nothing but GREAT results with this product. I then decided to purchase the blower that fit my 2 batteries because I got tired of bringing out my electric blower w/ 100ft extension cord after using this great trimmer edger. I have to say that this was also a great purchase that I made!!! My neighbor has already purchased one for himself because I have so much fun using it, I do his edging on his sidewalks!! lol.

Batteries great for one and a half season

I purchased two batteries with my weeder/edger and they did beautifully for the first season and half of the second. Then neither of them could hold a charge for more than 5 min. Helios had a comment posted on this thread in 2011 and he gave the info for the battery warranty program. I used it and have replaced ONE of my batteries for FREE; I hope to try to get the second one replaced as well. Good warranty program, for sure!

Battery Life

I bought my Trimmer mid summer. I too have a large yard and the battery will not make it plus the recharge takes so long I have to either get out the gas one or wait until the next day. Good thing I kept the old one. Additionally, I know now why you advertize spools for life as the line does not last long. However I noticed when I pulled up the site that I can order spools from here for free, is this true? I would like to try some of your other products but the battery issue could be a deal breaker.

WORX System Quick Review
, Oct 18, 2011

Can't say enough good things about my WORX trimmer/edger combination, with the small blower. The edger leaves a deep cut that is about the same as my electric edger, but actually does a more efficient cut (no back and forth motion like I used to do with my electric edger). The trimmer has plenty of power with the Lithium Ion battery, and with the automatic feed, I don't need to "bump" the edger for additional line. I too had a battery problem, but it was replaced very quickly at no charge after calling WORX's toll free number with the serial number of the bad battery. Although not quite as powerful as an electric blower, the small WORX blower does a good job at blowing off the cuttings from the edger/trimmer--just swap the battery and your're ready to go. I can now trim, edge, and blow off the driveway and sidewalks in 1/2 the time it took to use my electric edger, electric trimmer, and electric blower, without dealing with extension cords. I highly recommend the WORX system.
