3-in-1 Cutting Functionality

The WORX 19-inch Cordless Lawn Mower offers you the flexibility of three different cutting options. The mulching feature chops clippings and distributes them evenly to help the lawn hold moisture and nutrients. The side discharge allows clippings to be swept quickly from the cutting chamber. And the bagging feature allows grass and leaves to be conveniently collected in the included grass catcher bag.

IntelliCut™ Technology

Patented IntelliCut™ Torque on Demand technology ensures that power is there when you need it. No more bogging down in tough conditions when mowing tall grass or mulching leaves. Simply set the dial to POWER when cutting through the tough stuff, and switch the dial to QUIET to powerfully and efficiently mow in everyday conditions without disturbing the neighbors.

...I just received my new Worx 36 Volt mower a few minutes ago (2 day early I might add) cut open the box and adjusted the handle, connected the battery and put in the key to start mowing the VERY LONG grass. (first cutting) I started on "Quiet" mode and it cut well left some strips of uncut grass until I slowed down. Then I put it on "Power" mode (almost as quiet as quiet mode) very impressive... I own an apartment building and I always have some one trying to sleep, so I let the yardman continue... from inside I could just hear a very quiet humming as I watched from the window 10' away.
My reason for the 4 star is the design of the front wheels makes it hard to mow up to a wall or bushes & the weight of the mower is heavier than I thought an electric would be. Both of these are minor but, keep me from rating it at 5 stars. I can't wait to see how it does after the first mowing next week.... IF I can wait that long to use it again.

Finally a mower with the power to compare to gas engines. I am impressed and would highly recommend this mower to everyone. Also the hassle of gas and oil are no more.
Looks like a great mower , Jun 17, 2011

I am a Worx fan, although I don't own their mower yet. However, from the description I'm sure it will be the next one I buy. A few years ago I bought the Remington mower (the company has since gone under). The reason I chose it over competitors at the time was because 1) the battery was removable, which means you don't need to keep the mower inside a warm area in the winter, just bring the battery inside; plus, you can buy another battery and always have one on charge, and 2) it had an option to connect an extension cord and run off 120V when/if the battery was depleted and you couldn't wait for it to charge. I hope Worx considers this feature for the future.
I'd recommend it. , May 31, 2011

Like Timothy, I also bought the Worx yard tools and was impressed with how well they performed. My Neuton mower I bought 4 years ago used, was still working but beginning to wear out. When I found the Worx mower at Home Depot I decided to try it and it works great. The battery had enough power to get through my whole yard (not really large) but it being western Washington grass tends to be heavy and wet this time of year and it got through it all. Love the plug and go.
CUTTING GREEN , Apr 18, 2011

About 1.5 years ago I purchase my weed trimmer and blower and love them. So this year when my gas mower finally failed I decide to purchase the 36v 19" Worx mower. I have used it three time this season. It cuts like a dream. I have 2,000 sqft of St. Augustine I keep it three inch in height. What is really great is cutting and all you hear is this real low humming of the blade. Recommemd this to anyone who wishes to go green and improve their life.
