Very surprised!

I bought the 20V Lithium version (WG155) at Lowe's as a trimmer my wife could also easily use, with the intent that it just wouldn't work. I was being hopeful and gave it a shot for its extremely lightweight. I have to say I was absolutely shocked at the cutting ability of it. I have 200 ft of chain link fence to trim, one edge of my yard is a 4ft drop into a creek that has to be trimmed, and of course the usual tiles in the ditches. Add to that edging a driveway and you've got a hefty bit of trimming. This thing handles it all very well, and let me add it hasn't been trimmed until now for well over a year (I bought the house in february of 11 and this is the first trimmer I bought. so some of it was very thick!). It took 3 charges to do all of it, but the 200ft of fence inside and out the driveway edging and the creek trimming was all done on the third charge. All of this also has not even used up the first spool in the trimmer!

I have owned this Trimmer/Edger for 2 years now and wanted to absolutely make sure it did what it was suppose to do before writing a review.Let me tell you ,this is one tool i wound not be without. This is a superb trimmer, however, this is not an exact replacement for a gas trimmer, but if you have alot of flower gardens and islands in your yard like i do then this is the trimmer for you. Its not heavy to carry around and so light the mrs. can even trim.It works great on edging the driveway and also i edge around the flower beds, something they dont mention in their video, worxs GREAT!!I suggest you get the 24v as you will get more run time for the buck.Buy and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

One of the best lawn and garden tools I own!

This is by far one of the best lawn and garden tools I own. I love not having to deal with the smell and dangers of having to use gas and oil. I also love not having to keep track of the cord. The 24v Li-ion battery is much more convenient and efficient than the 18v battery. Being able to finish my whole yard with just the initial charge is great. The trimmer/edger air combo pack makes it much more efficient when storing and using as I do not need to have multiple batteries to charge and look for, one works for both. I would definitely recommend this item to my friends and family and I will be purchasing more products as I have come to trust the Worx line of tools to get the job done.

Worx WG165

I purchased the WG165 less than a month ago and have been more pleased with everything about it than I expected. Many of the reviews I read were negative and I almost didn't make the purchase but the specs were exactly what I needed and I knew I could return it if there was a problem. My primary concern was battery life. Boy, that sure isn't a problem. My arms get tired prior to the trimmer stopping due to battery exhaustion and it seems to average about 40 to 45 minutes depending on the thickness of the grass stalks. I also was pleased to see how long the string lasts. So far there has been no problems and I will give it an excellent grade.

I had the Worx Grass Trimmer with the Ni-Cad battery. Decided to upgrade to the Lithium Battery....so glad I did. I used it for the first time yesterday. Even with the grass as tall as it was from the rains, it did an excellent job. I would never have any other kind of trimmer. Thank you so much WORX!!
