I have tried all kinds of trimmers and have found this to be the best. The original battery died however way before it should have. They (USA) sent me a replacement which was great - the Canadian distributors basically said "tough luck." I still don't understand the different responses from the same company but I am glad they responded. It seems like they have the old battery issues worked out now ....

I have had mines for at least 5yrs and I only had to replace the batteries which I found at Lowes. By the way I just replaced the batteries on August 2011. Pretty good I say.

Had mine for over 3 years still going strong,just got to buy more spools.Same battery.Great product.Now 4 years still going strong.

I love this trimmer. Its very light so my kids can pitch in and help too. The spools last for a long time and the battery lasts about 30 min. I would order the extra battery so you dont have to stop trimming. Absolutely 100% awesome product!

I bought my trimmer/edger at Lowes.It was a used one and I bought it for only 75.00$.It was in awesome shape and no dents.When I brought it home I tried it out,I was shocked at how good of a job it did.It was super light and easy to adjust.I was trimming weeds 1/2 an inch thick.It charged in one hour and everything worked out. I have a gas one, too and it stinks.That is my experience with the Worx GT trimmer/edger.
